Keep Free Art Flowing Into Libraries

Floral Sessions with Ovi is a grassroots nonprofit offering free painting workshops in libraries and community spaces. These gatherings create room to breathe, connect, and create — without cost being a barrier.

Every brushstroke has a cost, though, and sustainability matters. Each workshop requires paints, canvases, aprons, and gentle guidance. Supplies come to about $13 per participant. When you help cover those costs, you keep these programs free and open to everyone who walks through the library doors.

• $13 covers supplies for one participant

• $65 sponsors five participants

• $150–$200 helps cover a full workshop’s materials (depending on group size)

 Even the smallest gift extends the reach of these gatherings and ensures that libraries can continue offering creative programs without extra staff work.
