Gentle Painting Sessions — In Libraries and Community Spaces
These gatherings happen in the kinds of places that belong to everyone — your local library, a community room, a garden. The setting changes, but the feeling doesn’t. You’re welcome here exactly as you are. No experience needed. No performance required.
We paint florals in oil, slowly and together, and something quiet tends to happen along the way.
What to Expect
All supplies provided — canvas, paint, brushes, apron. A two-hour floral painting session led by Ovi. Gentle, step-by-step guidance you can follow at your own pace. Non-toxic oil paints, beginner-friendly from the first stroke. A room that feels more like a breath than a class.

For Libraries & Community Partners
Bringing a session to your library is simple — I arrive with everything, set up quietly, and your team just gets to welcome people in. To keep workshops free, many libraries help offset supply costs (about $15 per participant), which covers canvases, brushes, paint, and table covers. Even a small contribution goes a long way toward sustaining what we offer season after season.
How to Join
All library workshops are free. Each library handles its own registration — just sign up through their events page or give them a call. Space fills, so earlier is always better.
