An artistic retreat for women ready to slow down, create, and reconnect. Just 35 minutes outside Bergen County, you’ll find yourself in a rustic, nature-immersed barn - the kind of space that instantly softens your shoulders and makes the rest of the world feel far away. It’s the perfect setting to step out of your routine and rediscover what it feels like to be present again. This one-day retreat runs from 9 am to 4:30 pm and is intentionally capped at just 16 spots. The last retreat filled in under four days. Over the course of the day, you’ll move through two curated art experiences - one with clay (Ovi Paulter) and one with alcohol inks (Soo Kim) - each designed to help you loosen your grip, explore creative expression, and step gently outside your comfort zone. Between these sessions, you’ll be guided through thoughtful, grounding conversations with a certified life coach (Sarah Wahiba Senan), helping you notice the patterns that shape your stress, your choices, and your energy. All three sessions weave together to create a full-body experience of awareness, creativity, and renewal. Breakfast and lunch are provided, and every detail has been intentionally curated to feel soothing and spacious. Past participants describe the day as refreshing, centering, and deeply restorative - a chance to reconnect with themselves and walk away feeling lighter, clearer, and more grounded.
About Ovi Paulter
Ovi is an artist who works with oils and clay, creating florals shaped by softness, stillness, and quiet emotion. She discovered art during a season when life felt heavy, and what began as a small creative escape became a way to breathe and return to herself. Her work is rooted in memories of her grandmother’s garden in Lithuania, where peonies stood tall and the world felt safe. Through both her sculptural and painted florals, she invites others into that same sense of calm, offering gentle creative spaces through her workshops and the nonprofit she co-founded, Floral Sessions with Ovi.
About Soo Kim
Soo is a mixed media artist who works with alcohol inks, creating pieces deeply inspired by the healing process. She first discovered alcohol inks during a time when she needed an escape, and what began as a creative outlet quickly became a way to release, to breathe, and to transform emotions into something beautiful. Her work turns chaos into flow and heaviness into light-inviting viewers to feel a sense of calm, relief, and connection through color.
About Sarah Senan
Sarah is a facilitator and coach who helps women understand the patterns that shape their stress, their choices, and their energy. She first began this work during a period when she felt pulled in every direction, and what started as a search for clarity became a practice of slowing down, listening inward, and responding with intention instead of autopilot. Her approach brings awareness to the places where we tense, push, or overextend, guiding people back to ease, honesty, and self-trust. She creates spaces where women can feel seen, supported, and grounded enough to reconnect with themselves in a meaningful way.
